Tim's playing experience includes composing music for independent films, session work, music clubs, weddings, small private parties, fundraising galas, basketball arenas and everything in between. With this vast experience, Tim has what many musicians lack: an understanding of the music business and the ability to read a crowd and adapt each performance to his audience. He brings to each performance, not just top-rate playing, but also a dependable professional demeanor and great organizational skills.
Tim is available for solo performances or leading the Tim Killeen Jazz Band, which features Tim on guitar and any of the following instruments: drums, bass, violin, saxophone and female vocalist. Each performance is tailored to the specific event and setlists can include American Songbook, jazz standards, bebop, swing, bossa nova and samba. Tim and his Jazz Band are available for private parties, cocktail parties, corporate events, restaurants & bars, weddings, session work, and clubs.
